My name is Mary Anne Russo, also known by many as Mrs. Russo.
I am the Children's Department Supervisor. When the Sky is Like Lace is a book I discovered early in my career, when I heard a skilled storyteller perform the story entirely by heart. It was a magical experience that left a lasting impression. The book evokes the wonder and imagination of childhood and inspires me to create children's programs here at Hubbard Public Library that reflect those qualities. Personally, the story reminds me to notice the presence of wonder in seemingly ordinary circumstances.
