Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we’re working to raise awareness in our community! Stop in and check out our Reader’s Advisory display; containing informative and inspirational books on your mental health and some Take-What-You-Need encouraging words and statistics on who is affected by mental illnesses.

If you or someone you know is struggling with mental illness, please seek the help you need in your community, whether this means seeking professional help or reaching out to friends and family. Please remember, you are never alone and there are always people who love and care about you.

The National Suicide Hotline is (800) 273-8255, or to use the National Crisis Text Line, text “4HOPE” to 741-741.
